With the new platform PI2 and the AI assistant Obi, working with PI becomes simpler, smarter and more connected to everyday leadership. Here's what's coming, when it's happening and how you can prepare. ## What is PI2? PI2 is the next generation of the PI solution, built to make PI simpler, smarter and more accessible in everyday work for HR, recruiters and managers. As a user, you get a more modern experience, new functionality and, above all, Obi, PI's new AI assistant that helps you go from PI insights to concrete action. Clients will start moving to PI2 in Q1 2027, and migrations will continue on a rolling basis during the first half of 2027. We'll contact you well ahead of your transition and support you along the way.   ## Meet Obi, your new AI assistant in PI Imagine having a personal PI coach who helps you understand, develop and help people succeed. Always available. That's exactly what Obi is. It combines 70 years of behavioral science with PI insights about the people you actually work with, and gives you concrete advice tailored to your situation, right when you need it. Ask Obi when you: - Need to prepare for an interview with a candidate - Want to give feedback that really lands - Need two team members to collaborate better - Want to find out what motivates someone on your team Obi can also connect a person's PI profile to your organization's leadership principles, values and engagement survey results. That makes PI a natural part of what you already do, and turns strategies and values into concrete everyday behaviors. Your conversations with Obi are private, and you always make the decisions. Obi doesn't just give you insights about people. It helps you use them, every day. Obi will be available to all clients with PI Standard or PI Premium Solution as part of the transition to PI2. Go through these steps and your account will be ready: - **Employees:** Check that all employees have the type "Employee" and use a company email address, not a private one. - **Candidates:** Check that all active candidates have the type "Candidate" and are linked to a job. - **Old candidates:** Anonymize candidates who are no longer relevant. - **Folders:** Make sure you have a clear folder structure and that the main folder is completely empty. - **Job Targets:** Check that the jobs you use today have an approved Job Target. - **Users (account owners):** Review user permissions and make sure former employees are deactivated. Cleaning up is easy, but it makes a big difference.   ## How the migration works The first migrations will take place in Q1 2027. When it's time for yours: - We'll contact your account owner once your migration date is set, typically about five weeks in advance. - You'll get a walkthrough of the steps your account needs to complete before the move. - All your users will get support through links, guides and other information from us and from The Predictive Index. - On migration day, the move happens automatically. You log in with the same credentials as today.
